So as all trips on my vessel there is always a group of "Characters" and never a shortage of excitement mixed with the unknown.

First let me say that one should always stick to their guns when venturing out. Plan the fishing and fish the plan. A great report yesterday is just a guide line today. That said have fun at the bridges guys. Speaking of bridges the center span might be good for fish finding but it is the navigable channel. So move your little excuse for a vessel when traffic is coming. Next time I might not be so nice.

The ocean was teaming with bunker and the rouge Blue Fin tuna. Not a Dolphin, they swim in packs and have to surface from time to time. The best Fire sunset I have seen in quite a while. But no tackers for our offering.

Inlet. So big to those Suffolk guys, thought they were in an inland sea. My "Indian" decent friend nails the first Bass with a "high swipe and a look to the left".

No fish after. Worked the region but only one blue bite. Poor eel, chomp.

My inside info guy was almost dragged into the water by a mystery fish. Tuna?...Thresher?...Blue?...never will know. Not a small guy either.

Made a slow retreat back to the dock to work a "well known sweet spot" for 5 more fish from 27 to 36 inches. It is so nice when the "bone heads" are in bed and not on the water.

Live bait....

In all 6 fish in boat 3 for the cooler.

Special thanks to my crew for a great night and for running the helm allowing me to pull some fish from the waters of the "concrete jungle".

Nice report, however, unless you witness a high hook and a look left, you can't write about it!

Thanks for the invite, good laughs, good fish, good times!
