left the dock yesterday at 4am to get to the tuna grounds. We got there and set up 5 miles short of where the bite was reported. Only 5 minutes into the troll 2 rods went off and boated 2 yellow fin around 50lbs. after that trolled further to the south west and it was non stop action with the Blue fin all day. I think we had 20 or more fish "lost count" only keeping one and releasing the others. Also ended up with 3 mahi mahi on the troll. We had better bigger Quality fish away from the fleet to the north. The fishing was insane and they are hungry! one fish even took the lure from the out rigger clip when it was dangling when we where fighting a another fish Also we had multiple knock downs one point all 6 rods went off. What a great day out on the ocean. Its days like this that always keep you coming back for more.
