I went had a couple of hours and fished the beach near the Coastguard Station. There was a sand bar running along the beach, which left a trough that was 3-4 feet deep. I was casting a Tsunami Sand Eel and hooked one 22 inch striped bass. There were seals in the area, but not so much where I was casting. No sign of great whites.
