For those who were out at cholera today and were concerned about a dragger in the area. It was not a dragger but the Gardline Ocean Researcher vessel mapping the bottom for wind energy installations offshore.

They did come mighty close to my boat. I took a picture.

Then kept fishing. 3 keeper seabass, 2 porgies, 2 ling, 1 mackerel, 1 short fluke. Ocean was flat all morning.

awesome looking vessel basically the run out hasn't made the trip worth it . don't know what happened to the bite?thanks for the report

beginning of the end

That vessel is the beginning of the end for Cholera fishing.

Once the turbines go in they fall under home land security.

That means no more fishing in the area.

I am all for clean renewable energy but how much of our usable land or sea has been taken?

WInd farms, EEZ, natural gas terminals, out flow pipes...the list goes on.
