Report location New York Bight > HoJo's continue to take toll on BIG Bass.
Fishing method Boat
Next Report »

It's been a great week for HoJo. On Monday we landed the biggest fish of the season (57.3 lbs) on a chartreuse tandem HoJo rig. Each day we have been getting at least one or two 40lbers mixed in with the smaller fish (15-25lbers). It's all about tide, wind and lots of luck. Stay near the schools of bunker and present the Ho's about 10 feet above the bottom. It's like offering

Peter Luger Steaks at a hot dog stand for the same price. If you were a bass wouldn't you prefer a nice fresh swimming squid over a common everyday oily bunker that you can get anytime?
