Fished the outgoing tide Saturday,on the troll,took two very nice bass at 30 and 31 inches tagged 5 fish all in the 20 in range,there is not a lot of bait in the water as of yet and temperature at 47-48 isn't turning on bigger fish,will try later in the week.If you take a tagged fish please treat it gently,looking to see where they all end up in the next few years

bait and bigger fish

totally agree no bait, fish i have kept so far have had zero bait in them...bigger fish will hit but you need to put it right past there nose....had a couple 40 inchers so far...only kept one because of deep hook set...really want those big ones to breed for future generation.

Tagged 60 last season and 30 the season before. Still none returned.
Sticking to scale samples this year.

Took a 40 lb fish off seaside with a tag,fish was from Rhode Island tagged 11 years before.The water is cleaner but the bait is under pressure with bunker fleets
