Tough day for the Fluke bite yesterday, only a couple of shorts and loads of Sea Robbins. Beautiful day on the water with lots of laughs and good friends. Will try again this week.

I wouldn't bother with the fluke. This has been the worst fluke season in the Western Sound that I can recall in the many years I've been fishing here. Started out light and then they disappeared. Stick with the porgies and at least you'll have plenty of action.

Fish Norwalk area ,slow yes terrible no ,been getting a few keepers each trip nice fish 20-22 ,less sea bass than last year but bigger . Conditions always dictate how well we do . Friend who fishes with me has someone who wants sea robins ,he gets free lunches so he should be eating free for a long time !
