28 Hour Tile/Hake (3/17-3/19)

Capt Steven Jr reports a tough grind on our first trip in the deep water this year. We found a bunch of small dogfish on the open bottom areas that kept us from putting much time in, in those areas. We did manage to find a good handful of hake on the wrecks with a couple tiles mixed in. Also, we had a couple of wreck fish and a barrel fish popped up too. Overall it was a slow trip for our first shot but we are looking forward to getting further off to the east next weekend where we are expecting better fishing. Theo Zmach won both the tile and hake pool with a 20lb tile fish and a 12lb hake. The edible pool winner was Eddy Perry witha 18lb wreck fish.

Tom and the boys always catch fish. WFM....

There are 4 seasons to the year and you can fish in all of them.  The season never ends...

Well done.

Only true fisherman fully understand the tranquility and excitement associated with a day on the water.
