3/18 Codfishing Aboard Island Current III...Snug Harbor RI
Well, Mother Nature finally allowed us to get off the dock. Weather conditions were ideal as the seas were flat calm.
Capt. Scott tried a variety of spots until he was able to hone in on some fish as he ventured further to the east. High hook today was 7 keepers while most guys has between 3-5 fish apiece. It was a pleasure fishing with Bill H & his crew.
We will be keeping a close eye on the weather and trying to get out this Monday and Tuesday providing the weather cooperates and there's enough freight to commence sailing.
