Way to go Capt Richie!
There are 4 seasons to the year and you can fish in all of them. The season never ends...

Attah boy Rich ! Wanted to take the ride with ya, but I was wiped out from slinging Ling all day on the MJ4.
Those fish look nice and healthy to me, not sure why anyone would question their survival.

i was shocked as to how many keepers are already around!!! i been fishing the surf early this year and had my first bass on 3/21 the earliest ever! i never expected so many bass this early in the season in the bay. i should of known better than to doubt capt richie when i got the invite to go out. the action was very steady and i even nailed one on a bucktail w/rind!! can't wait to hit the boat again soon, especially on 4/15 where i can actually take one home, although i don't really eat striped bass much, just once in a blue moon. thanks again capt rich, u da man!!!

Thanks Guys
Napster, notice no fingers in the gills, good fish color, and erect pectorial fins means the fish is alive and healthy in the photo. If you don't trust in my intergrity to release them, I don't know what to tell you.

Would you stop The Bass population is in great health with the current regs. When the season opens in NY fish will die. That's fishing. If you don't want to harm the bass stop fishing totally and join PETA.
I can't believe even on a catch an release trip I have to read comments like yours

What the Hell is the point of joining a "fishing forum" if all your going to do is B*#ch and complain about people catching fish, and even catch and release nonetheless. Let alone those that are doing it for a living. I am pretty sure PETA has a forum of there own. Maybe you should join that.

It was a great night of catch and release fishing. If we didn't have to work we would of probably double our count. We left the feeding frenzy for another day!!!
