Went out yesterday the 24th on "Reel Love" with Keith (KingKeith)

We were at the tip of the Hudson by dawn, sea surface temp was about 74.5 at the tip. seas were a little rough and it was cloudy with some chop ontop of the swells. We put out the spread. We trolled down to the Southwest corner. Early on the Shotgun starts screaming but whatever it was managed to get away before we could see what it was. By about 7 or 8am the seas laid down the sun came out and it was beautiful out there.

During the middle of the day we saw a Marlin in the slick he kept swimming back and forth through the spread but wouldnt commit.

Towards the end of the day we trolled past a pot and picked up this nice bull mahi to save the day.

Caught the outskirts of a storm on the way in, just a little rain. They said up to 50mph winds but it never happened or we managed to sneak past.

Thanks for taking me out Keith. Always a great time when your offshore I love being out there. If I forgot to mention anything post it up.

Nice Mahi, but it looks like a big cow, as in the female of the speciesSmile

Being it was larger I assumed it was a bull. The larger mahi's are usually male. But the males usually have a flat forehead this is more round. So I believe you are right. Good eye
