About the Cover:
On this week’s cover is a 452-pound thresher. This “fish of a lifetime” is the biggest thresher we have seen so far this year and was taken on Saturday, June 23 by Captain John Calamia, Captain Rob Miglino and crew on the Whatta Catch .
The beast took a live bluefish at the 25 line, south of Jones, in 63-degree water. It took over 2 hours to bring to the boat.
