It is a logical presentation of excellent equipment only exceeded by the best equipment for your fishing success. story

RECENT FIELD EDITOR REPORTS

My New England Patriots redeemed themselves with a win in Minnesota Sunday but sure got their heads handed to them the week before in Miami. Reminds me of those high school Saturday afternoons at Richfield Springs in upstate New York when we went at it with our chief rival Cooperstown
Before I get to the new clips, I want to pass on some beach access news. It's a rare day when Piping Plovers and environmentalists team up to actually preserve beach driving privileges, even if inadvertently and maybe only temporarily
With another fall run just around the corner, I think it's the perfect time to talk about our beloved striped bass. The plain truth is fishing for striped bass isn't nearly as good as it was just a few years ago
"It was the Law of the Sea, they said. Civilization ends at the waterline
My companion didn't quite manage to turn a cloudy sky blue, but the cussing he was doing must have come pretty close.Ever find yourself fishing in some far off part of the world and the rod and reel you're having to work with just won't get the job done? That's where my friend found himself on the morning he was doing such a thorough job of practicing his profanity
Hogy Heavy Minnow Jigs will catch just about anything that swims, especially in deeper water. They can be cast and retrieved or simply jigged vertically
Think Rio, and the recent World Cup matches of 2014 may pop into your mind. Think ahead to 2016, and the Summer Olympics may conjure up the second largest city in Brazil, where the events are to be held in Rio de Janeiro
The Massachusetts Division of Marine Fisheries is soliciting opinions from recreational anglers regarding striped bass management issues for 2015. According to these folks the recreational catch has taken a serious plunge (75%) and the management people want some input on what to do about it
The Cape Cod Times recently published a story noting that as of the third week in August, striped bass is still on restaurant menus and being sold in fish markets. That's a situation that hasn't existed for six years and with 33 percent of the total striped bass quota — nearly 368,000 pounds — still left to be caught, it appears restaurants may be able to keep stripers on their menus right through the summer, maybe into fall
"They're closin' down the hangout The air is turnin' cool They're shuttin' off the superslide" The kids are back in school The tourist traps are empty Vacancy abounds Almost like it used to be Before the circus came to town"(When the Coast is Clear)Well, Mister Jimmy Buffett sang those lyrics when he played his annual New England gig over at what used to be Great Woods Performance Center, now known as The Tweeter Center, which lets Parrot Heads everywhere know that summer is officially on the wane. But I didn't need the coconut telegraph to tell me that because when I came downstairs to grab that first cup of morning coffee the living room thermometer read a crisp fifty-nine degrees
