QUESTION: Why do my reports have to be reviewed by moderators before they appear on the site?
ANSWER: Unlike the discussion board, where you can read discussions and posts regarding a wide range of topics, the Posted Reports section has one purpose: to supply Nor'east anglers with quality, up-to-the-minute fishing reports posted by other Nor'east anglers.
As a result, we moderate the posted reports section more carefully than the discussion board. One way we do this is to manually approve all of the reports that are submitted. This way, any inappropriate or non-fishing-report posts are deleted before they ever make it on to the site.
