#1 The Who at Forest Hills Queens NY they open by playing Live at Leads versions of songs and then they play Who's Next songs before the album came out or they played on radio, hearing "Won't Get Fooled Again " that first time is just ......... no words can discribe
I have seen them before and after but nothing compares to that night.
Some of you guys might laugh, but to this day, “Tie a yellow ribbon around the old oak tree” is one of the most popular songs ever composed. Is the only song sung in 145 different languages. Last time I heard it was in Watusi by Watusi warriors.
I too would have to say I've seen many of these bands and performers in my day as well. One that ranks at the top of my list would be the first Billy Joel/Elton John concert at the Meadowlands.
