I want to thank all of those who attended the seminar today! It was a great turnout. Rich, John, Billy, Mark and Eric did a super job as presenters and providing the teaser tying workshop and eel rigging session. Thanks to all of you who helped me out - I have a great team of people always willing to step in and do whatever is needed! They were great! The raffle for Lou's rod alone brought in over $1,000. The winner was Predrag - he won via the online raffle! Thanks to Lou (redhawk19) and everyone else for all of your much appreciated donations for the raffle fundraiser for Ariana and her family. It was great to see Wayne today and he was very thankful for all the support he and his family has recived from the Noreast community. George and Noreast has also contributed $500 for Ariana and her family in addition to the other donations and raffle money. In total we raised $4,451 for Ariana and her family! Thanks again to all for making a difference! It has been tremendous to see the Noreast family come together to help support one of our own!

That was my first seminar and it was worth it. I think I'm the best fisherman around BUT this game is never mastered without gaining new knowledge and listening to BETTER fishermens theories. Two thumbs up. Not to mention an excellent cause. Till the next event,

Wow, I couldn't have said all of that any better! I had an absolutely GREAT time and learned so much more about surf fishing. Really GREAT meeting everyone again. Looking forward to the next one...Steve
First off, a huge thanks to Kevin and all those who helped put this event on. You guys worked your butts off and this was a first class event. And another huge thanks to the donators, who provided great raffle prizes at their own time and/or expense. The NFSS has come a long way from the 30-40 person coffee clutches it started out as two years ago.
Second, and more importantly, I considered it an honor to participate in such a worthy cause. These kinds of things are referred to as "enlightened self-interest". What this means is that noreast members gathered valuable knowledge on their favorite past time, and at the same time provided invaluable assistance to a noreast family member in need. For all of you who ponied up, you have done yourself and the noreast family proud.
It was good to see all of you today.

I thought all 3 speakers were very good. It was neat to get one seminar on throwing lures/ or anything, one on eels, and one on bunker. With each speaker having a passion in their subject.
Good to see familiar faces and a few I never saw in person but have read their stuff for years. I was impressed with my first Noreast surf seminar!!
Thanks again to the speakers, Kevin(walleyeman) and George...and from the photos..I can see allot of people made it complete.
