Went fishing for two days with Gordo Banks Panga's out of the new marina in San Jose Del Cabo. Had two great days of fishing. Day 1 I caught 3 dorado and many ciara on the troll. The following day we hit the reefs for some jigging. I caught 1 tuna, 2 amberjack, 1 grouper and 2 red snapper. Here are some photos.

gordo banks panga

This is the best way to fish cabo, although some ppl like the big boat feel you get down and dirty with a panga fishing trip, and it much less like 150 for four hours.

I love panga fishing off Cabo! You can catch dorado right on the beach, all kinds of bottomfish for dinner within a mile from the beach and even marlin within five miles from shore. Cabo San Lucas is OK for pangas but Pamilla beach and San Hose (both further North) are the best for panga fishing. Just keep in mind that you are fishing from a boat with no fighting chairs, no rails, no toilets and if your lucky, an outboard that actually starts. It's all part of the fun and if you're not worried about whales breaching within 50 feet of your panga, you'll love it.
