Hi Stella, sorry to say I'm in MD.
Last time I was in NYC, they didn't even know what crabs were. And they were about $3.50 a bushel. LOL! We have Bluecrabs here and now they're $196/bu for Jumbos and $120 for #2s. They're even MORE, in the Summer.
Wish I was closer. I like Rockcrabs, too, which is what you're selling. I used to get mine in South Bristol, ME, when I hauled lobsters from there.

are white crabs used for bait or dinner?
cant tell from the ad. have only eaten blue claw, stone and king crab. after seeing spider crab is so similar in appearance to alaskan crab on deadly catch, i stopped eating them.

I know I know they dont look good but the next time your very very hungry or had a few extra buds. (to get the courage for the first time)try cooking up some spider crab claws( the bigger the better )cook them the same way you like your blue claws. you will thank me.

Rock Crab claws & legs boiled with old bay, beer & some cider vinegar: delicious. take the bigger of their 2 claws and a couple of their bigger front legs, and throw em back. they grow back them pretty quickly.. the gift that keeps on giving.
